Breath work:

Tapping Energy Healing:

also called Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), involves tapping on acupressure points to alleviate stress, anxiety, and negative emotions. It releases energy blockages, promoting emotional and physical balance, thereby reducing pain, improving sleep, and boosting energy. This simple, self-help practice empowers personal healing and growth, enhancing overall well-being.

Poetry Conversation:

enriches both readers and writers by evoking emotions, stimulating creativity, and fostering empathy. Its vivid imagery enhances language appreciation and helps process complex feelings. Writing poetry offers therapeutic self-expression; while reading it inspires introspection and connections, enriching the human spirit.

Trauma Support Group:

provides a safe space for healing and growth. Participants share experiences, process emotions, and develop coping strategies, fostering mutual support and reducing isolation. Led by trained facilitators, these groups promote resilience and empower individuals to transform trauma into personal growth.

Anxiety Support Group:

provides a safe and understanding environment for individuals to share their experiences with anxiety, fostering a sense of community and reducing feelings of isolation. These groups offer practical coping strategies, emotional support, and opportunities for members to learn from one another. Participants gain resilience, confidence, and hope as they navigate their journey toward managing anxiety.

Home Fitness:

offers a convenient, cost-effective way to stay healthy, allowing exercise anytime. It improves physical health, reduces stress, and boosts mental well-being, all from the comfort of home.

HIV Support Group:

provides a safe space for individuals to share experiences and find community, reducing isolation and stigma. These groups offer emotional support, practical advice, and shared knowledge on managing HIV/AIDS, fostering empowerment and self-care. Participants also advocate for awareness, promoting a more inclusive society while finding strength, resilience, and hope.

Yoga & Chair Yoga:

enhances physical health and mental clarity through postures, breathwork, and meditation. It improves flexibility, strength, balance, and sleep, while reducing stress and anxiety. This holistic practice fosters mindfulness, self-awareness, and emotional balance, making it accessible to all.

Man-Cave Men’s Group:

provides a safe space for sharing experiences and emotions, fostering camaraderie and reduces isolation. It encourages personal growth, self-reflection, and improved emotional intelligence. Participants gain valuable insights, coping strategies, and mental health support, promoting resilience and authentic connections. These groups empower men to embrace emotional authenticity and redefine masculinity.

Retreats:

offer transformative benefits, providing a peaceful escape for reflection and self-discovery. Through mindfulness, meditation, and self-care, participants achieve mental clarity, emotional healing, and stress relief. Workshops and community support foster learning and growth, enabling individuals to return to daily life with renewed energy, purpose, and deeper connections.

Spiritual Direction:

 helps deepen one’s spiritual journey through guided sessions with a trained director. It offers a supportive space to explore beliefs, address inner struggles, and gain clarity. By fostering connection with one’s spiritual source, it nurtures purpose, meaning, and inner peace, enriching life with authenticity and compassion.

Youth Internships:

 provides youth aging out of CHIP and preparing to enter the workforce (ages 16-21) with opportunities to gain valuable skills that help them enter the workforce with greater confidence and capabilities.  Skills include: interpersonal relationship building, basic computer skills, soft skills, professional demeanor, answering phones, resume building, conflict resolution, data entry, time management, teamwork, and so much more.

Reiki:

a Japanese energy healing practice that promotes relaxation, stress reduction, and natural healing. It alleviates pain, improves sleep, boosts immunity, and fosters emotional balance. Reiki also enhances spiritual connection, self-awareness, and personal growth, offering a holistic approach to well-being.

Grief Support Group:

provides a compassionate space for individuals to share their experiences of loss, easing loneliness and fostering connection. These groups validate emotions, offer coping strategies, and encourage healing. Participants gain comfort, resilience, and a renewed sense of hope through shared understanding and support.

Youth Groups/Camps:

allow us to reach at-risk youth to educate them about STD prevention, trauma, and the power of positive thinking and self-determination.  We are especially focused on breaking generational trauma by providing tools and techniques that give them the ability to choose a different path.

Food & Clothing Pantries:

our food and clothing pantries are vital resources that combat food insecurity and provide essential clothing, alleviating financial strain for those in need. These services promote health, dignity, and community solidarity, creating a more compassionate society while empowering individuals to focus on other critical necessities like housing and healthcare.
